1. Create a FSA ID

  2. Complete your FAFSA with LAPU school code (042788)
    • Please note that 2018-2019 FAFSA deadline is June 30, 2019. Starting July 1st you can only add the LAPU school code (042788) to an existing 2018-2019 FAFSA.
    • If you are starting/continuing with Fall 2019 you will need to complete the 2019-2020 FAFSA.

  3. Create a Verify My FAFSA account if your FAFSA was selected for verification.
  4. Complete Federal Loan Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note (MPN).
    • If you plan to use federal direct loans to cover the cost of school.
  5. Create a Cal Grant Account (WebGrants4Students)
    • If you are a California resident that is eligible for the Cal Grant.
    • Need to complete a School Change to transfer your Cal Grant over to LAPU.
